ADITYA is one of the few institutions which has its own group of super society from the town participate. Artists who perform regularly on special occasions like the foundation day(4th Dec.), Bihu festival etc. Besides this, sporting activities both outdoor and indoor are provided and encouraged. Special emphasis of health awareness is generated by WALK FOR HEALTH programme, which is an annual feature on the Foundation day 4th Dec. where is people from all strata.
 

     Aditya diagnostics & Hospital is acutely conscious of its obligations to society and committed to social services. Rural HEALTH CAMPS ands special health check up camps for senior citizens for detection of Diabetic Mellitus & Cardiac diseases is a regular features of this institution. Free blood, urine estimation & ECG exam. are regularly carried out in this camp. In rural health camp. free medicines are distributed besides health check up. Scholarship is awarded to meritorious students and academic activities of many institutions are financed by ADITYA.

     Nearly Rs. 1.5 lacs. were spent for training of 1200 primary teachers of Dibrugarh Dist. for the detection of defect eye sight of school children. The only institute in the entire North East to have funded and completed the project "Free Medical Treatment" is provided to the poor patients. Senior citizen, Defence personal are allowed a discount on all investigations done at Aditya Hospital. The funding for all of this are from "S. D. Sahewalla Foundation", a charity trust created in memory of late parents of Dr. N. K. Sahewalla, the Managing Director.

     An NGO Netrajyoti funded by S. D. Sahewalla foundation has taken up the pioneer task of creating public awareness for Eye Donation and all necessary steps are taken to procure Eyes for the donors and to make all necessary arrangement for getting the corned blind treated.

     Besides been committed to provide health care, academic activities are also encouraged to update professional knowledge, to keep at least above latest developments in the world of medical-science, to promote interaction with renowned nationally and internationally famous medical personal it is with the objective, regular weekly scientific seminar are also held on various disciplines, CME progamme are organized where specialists from other parts of the country participate. Workshop on various specialties and super specialties are organized as a regular academic activity.

     It is a matter of pride and honour for Aditya to be the only recognized ultrasound training institute the entire Eastern region of India which is recognized by Indian College Of Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology(FICUMB), Indian College Of Medical Ultrasound (ICMU), which is affiliated to the WORLD FEDERATION OF ULTRASOUND IN MEDICINE AND BIOLOGY. The ICMU and Jefferson Ultrasound Research And Educational Institute(JUREI), Philadelphia USA have reach a collaboration agreement towards advancing education and Training in Ultrasound in India.

     Aditya is proud to have been gaining accreditation for admitting students for Post graduate study in Medicine(DNB) from the National Board of Examination , Delhi.
